Hard Chrome plated finish overall mounting checkered COLT medallion walnut grips with Smith & Wesson pattern matted front ramp sight with red plastic insert, and white outline adjustable rear notch. Short-recoil operated single action autoloading pistol fed by detachable magazines and built by Armand Swenson. The left slide and right frame are both struck A.D. SWENSON/GARDENA. CALIF., indicating this handgun was built by Armand Swenson. Original colt marks include GOVERNMENT/MODEL COLT AUTOMATIC/CALIBER .45 followed by {Rampant Colt} to left slide, and COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD. CONN. U.S.A. to the right. Upper slide is custom matted with engraved outline in the style common to Swenson 1911s. Further hallmarks include the squared off triggerguard with checkered forward edge, custom checkering to the forward gripstrap, extended slide stop, matted rear slide, and a beveled magazine well. {MODERN}
